Gentle Yoga ~ NEW CLASS

Whether you want to brush up on your yoga skills or work on your balance, this class will be for you. The instructor, Claire, brings years of teaching and knowledge to to help you gently work into some classic yoga poses. Please bring your own yoga mat (bands and bricks, if you have them). Come check it out or observe a class to find out if it’s for you. (Chairs are available if you prefer)

Class Cost: Introductory price, first month $5.00 and $10.00 there after. Bring a friend and they pay $5.00 for the first class.

 

Life After Loss – Grief Support Group 

A grief support group facilitated by Hospice Compassus. All are welcome who have experienced a loss in our community. Loss is a journey that you do not have to take alone.  Please join us and experience community, a likeness of experience and healing with others who have lost a loved one.  This is an open, non-secular support group, free of charge.

Thursday 10:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.  Tudor Room.

Mahjong 

Whether you know how to play or have always wanted to learn, come join this fun group of people and have fun playing. This is a community event and there is no charge, other than you have to have fun!

Paint With Lovejoy

This is an acrylic painting class perfect for first-time painters or beginners. There will be multiple projects to choose from, or bring your own image you want to recreate onto canvas. If you have your won supplies, canvas, paint and brushes, bring them along. If not, 1 time use supplies will be available for purchase ($5.00).

Monday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.   Flynn Room

T’ai Chi for beginners 

T’ai Chi offers relaxation, balance, centering and calmness of mind through a series of slow rhythmic movements. No harsh stretching or straining is employed in T’ai Chi , yet it is a wonderful all-around conditioner. No special equipment or clothing need be purchased.

Monday & Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.   Flynn Room

Watercolor Class  

Watercolor classes for Beginner to Intermediate artists. All levels welcome. (Please bring your own supplies, or stop by the Center to pick up a copy of what you may need.) Feel free to just drop in on the class and speak with the instructor.

Wiggle and Giggle ~ Fall Break October and November ~ back Tuesday December 2 

This class includes aerobic dance, balance, toning, stretching and laughter.  We are also a support group for each other and share health tips.  Exercise chairs are available for those who wish to chair dance. Fun for all ages.  Join us for a fun filled, laughing, healthy, social hour.
