The Sedona Community Center has been fulfilling this need for over 40 years with our five-day-a-week in-house lunches and Meals on Wheels food programs. The Center needs not only to continue these crucial services but has also added our Breakfast/Weekend Club program to provide necessary food to residents throughout the weekend. None of these services is possible without your generous support.
Donations can be given in a variety of ways. We have the Arizona Tax Credit Program, General Donations, the Meals on Wheels Pet Project, participation in our yearly fundraisers, and Planned Giving programs. You may simply click on the general donate button (Donate Now) on this page, click on a particular designated button, or send us a check to support our overall programs and services.
We cannot thank you enough for your caring support.
A planned gift is a gift given by an individual who shares a portion of their assets or estate. Your estate is a combination of assets including money, real estate, stocks, bonds, art, automobiles, life insurance…anything owned by you that has monetary value.
A bequest is a gift made through a will. The four most common bequests are:
By making the Sedona Community Center the beneficiary of your planned gift or bequest, you allow your resources to continue to work for you during your lifetime and help the Sedona Community Center continue to do its work of enhancing the lives of Sedona residents. You can give your planned gift while you are still alive or plan that it be given after your passing.
Your commitment to the Sedona Community Center includes the possibilities of planned giving through:
Appreciated Securities are gifts including stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. By transferring ownership of appreciated securities, donors are able to claim a charitable income tax deduction for its current full market value, but avoid incurring capital gains taxes that would be owed if the stock were sold.
Life Insurance. You can name the Sedona Community Center the beneficiary of all or part of the value of your life insurance policy.
Therefore, there are many ways to provide funding for the Sedona Community Center.
If you are interested in learning more about planned giving and want to help the Sedona Community Center continue to do its work to enhance the lives of Sedona residents, give us a call today.
On behalf of the Board of Directors and the staff, we express our gratitude for your continued support of the Sedona Community Center. Without the caring actions of our donors and volunteers, we wouldn't be able to fulfill our mission of contributing to the health and well-being of the seniors in the greater Sedona area. With our award winning food delivered to our Meals on Wheels clients and served for our daily lunch program. Along with our social events and physical activities.
